Spotlight: 2008 Bantam Boys 4x400m Relay
"Creating success requires teamwork." Teamwork and true camaraderie is what takes place every time East Cobb - The Heat's Bantam Boys, Davis Wilson, Darrel Render, Sierra Hendrix-Williams, and Tyriq Hardimon take their leg positions on the track for the 4x400m relay.Each member of the team not only contribute to the relay team's success, but also to the total Track Club's success as they have achieved championship status in the diverse track ad field areas of the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m,softball throw, long jumps, and collaboratively, the relays.In addition to the many ribbons, medals, personal records, and championships won by this relay team. They also broke several records during the 2008 season. As they prepare for the 2008 National Junior Olympics, we recognize their achievements.
These talented Bantam Boys are also active off season, and sometimes simultaneously with track season, participating in football, baseball, and basketball.
